<P ALIGN=LEFT>A host of plant louse feasting on the stem of an unlucky plant, near the Leman Lake in Renen.</P>
  • <H2><b>Lady Bug</b></H2>
<P ALIGN=LEFT>Lady bugs are very common in May in this part of the world, they are a blessing since they eat all sorts of pest. As a matter of fact, people affectinately call them "Bete a Bon Dieu", i.e. Animal of god.</P>
  • <H2><b>Blue "Gentiane"</b></H2>
<P ALIGN=LEFT>This small flower is protected. It grows at medium altitudes (1000m), in this case at the Creux-du-Van. You can see this flower pictured on many Swiss products.</P>
  • <H2><b>The "Creux-du-Van"</b></H2>
<P ALIGN=LEFT>The Creux-du-Van ("hole of the void") was carved by the action of ancient glaciers that used to be in this valley of the Val-de-Travers. I used to work there as a waiter in a touristic Chalet.</P>

<P ALIGN=LEFT>Sailing boat stranded on the Santa Cruz beach. It nows offer shade to weary beachers wanting to escape the burning sun.<P>

<P ALIGN=LEFT>The Santa Cruz boardwalk is an amusement park lining the city beach. Many people come in the summer to enjoy the ride, such as did these falks on the rollercoster.<P>
